*For Choosing Your Tile Shower
You have complete flexibility in designing your shower and have it function as you would like, like soap/shampoo insets, grab bars, benches, shaving niche, etc. The follow are guidelines to help you in choosing your tile shower needs.
1. Ceramic tile provides a vast array of options from slick/shiny material to slip resistant. Slip resistant comes in a variety of options for wet and dry conditions so that you can find the right type of tile for your shower. Using Mosaic tile for your shower floors is common due to the smaller tiles having more grout joints and providing better traction. You have the ability to use different tiles and decorative accents.
2. Curbless showers allow for better accessibility than those with a traditional curb as there is no step to get into the shower. This is great for wheelchair access maintaining safety and independence.
3. Ceramic, porcelain, marble, quarry, slate, glass, travertine are all ideal for all areas exposed to water. All our showers are properly waterproofed protecting against water that could ruin your construction underneath. Not all installers provide the proper installation of products to correctly waterproof therefore leaving the potential for water leakage, trapped moisture and water splashes to damage your construction.
4. Ceramic tile makes cleaning easy as it can be cleaned with soap and water. No Harsh Chemicals!
5. Tile comes in a vast array of coordinating colors, finishes, shapes and sizes to create your custom dream shower. You can design your own luxury shower with a combination of tiles, not too many though. Remember that smaller tiles or textured tiles for the shower floor provide better traction. You can use coordinating tile to design not only your shower but also your bathroom walls, sink backsplash, tub surround, floors and ceiling. Chose consistent colors for your whole space for that custom luxury look.
*For Choosing Your Tile Floors
Ceramic and Porcelain, most popular, are both great choices for long lasting flooring that will last a lifetime. Travertine, Slate, Stone and Marble are other great choices for your tile floors.
Tile is easy to maintain with soap and water. It resists dirt and stains and is great for those with allergies.
Tile can create a dramatic first impression, indoors or out.
Tile is not just for bathrooms and kitchens, it can also we used in your living room, work area or outdoor patio. Tile adds value to any home or business.
Tile is available in a vast array of textures, colors, shapes, and styles to create your unique look.
Some tiles are designed to have better traction when wet making it perfect for swimming pools (which we do), showers, patios, kitchens, bathrooms and any other wet area.
When tile is used outside it is fade resistant, frost resistant, durable, has traction and is easy to clean.
Consider the combination of colors, size, style, pattern, layout and texture of the tile and the location it is being installed.
Not all tiles will suit every room in your house.
If you want your room to appear larger than you could use lighter colors, if you would like the room to be warm you would use darker colors.
Stone pattern tiles portray a subtle look and can match many décor types. Stay away from super busy patterned tile if you already have busy patterned walls in the same room.
When it comes to tile flooring, size and layout also matter. Large tiles can make a space appear larger where small tiles tend to make a room more intimate. Determining the layout can be simple or complex, say you would like your small room to feel spacious and organized, you can use a layout such as diamond, straight or brick. If you want a dramatic look then you could choose a bold layout like pinwheel, Versailles, checkerboard or herringbone.
Want hardwood, but don't want the maintenance, consider installing highly durable, scratch and moisture resistant wood ceramic tile. You'll be glad you did, it's beautiful. Ceramic wood floors look gorgeous in all rooms, even the shower floor.
If you are looking for luxury and incredible durability then consider a stone floor. Marble, granite or travertine take your space to a more elegant room because no two tiles will be just alike.

*For Choosing Your Tile Backsplash
Your kitchen backsplash is one design you spend time on. Choosing what tile to use can be overwhelming.
The first thing you should consider is color. A colorful backsplash can make an immediate impact, a neutral backsplash can add just as much character.
Secondly you should think about the height of your backsplash. It has to end somewhere, but where that is, is up to you. Cabinetry can be a deciding factor in this decision. If you only want a little backsplash to show then bring to bottom of the cabinetry. If you want more tile to show then consider extending your backsplash over the stove (maybe add a design), sink or even to the ceiling where you have no cabinetry.
Thirdly, you should consider what type of tile you would like to use for your backsplash. This is a personal choice. Be sure to think about the color of your countertop.
Fourth, you should decide what shape and size tiles you would like as well as what pattern you would like them installed. Do you want a design in your backsplash?
Lastly, like with all home improvements, is budget. This is probably the most important thing to consider. If you would like to stay on a tight budget then choosing a standard size tile with no accents would be the way to go. However you can still add beautiful designs or stripes without breaking the bank (at least with us you can).
Have fun designing your tile backsplash.
*For Choosing Your Fireplace
Changing your fireplace façade with a tile surround will give your fireplace an updated and modern look. The surround will be durable and gorgeous. Porcelain and Ceramic tiles are great for fireplaces because they can stand wear and damage. They are also both used on walls and floors. Granite however is the hardest stone available and makes for a beautiful fireplace surround. Slate is also a durable natural stone tile that is resistant to damage. Consider cost, durability and style when choosing your fireplace tile.
*For Choosing Your Tile Tub Surround
We reccomend choosing tile for your tub surround the same as you would for your tile shower above, without the choice of the shower floor. See above.
